I came back for the 2nd time after my first one was a fiasco. This place is out of this world. Pizza is extra gooey and crispy as a ct pizza should be. Go on have a bite. 5 stars
Solid, no-frills New York style parlor pizza. It has that cozy, unpretentious ambience that you would expect from a counter-serve pizza parlor, they're pretty casual there. They baked my pizza very quickly -- it came out in like, two seconds. The staff were also honest and clean people, with one of them asking me what kind of pizza I was having and wanting to know a little more about me first. The pizza was quite good, nothing gourmet but the perfect blend of cheese, sauce and sweetness, nothing greasy to that nature and definitely piping hot right out of the oven. So, did I enjoy my pizza? Sure did! If you happen to be in the Fairfield area and want some good, simple, similarly-sized pizza, pay Planet Pizza a visit.
The pizza is delicious but the atmosphere is very loud. I enjoyed the garlic knots. Wait staff was a bit pokey but very polite.
Planet Pizza is a straight up pizza joint and the food is decent. Nothing special aside from the reason you're reading this Yelp review. The special circumstance here may be the most unique reason that this restaurant gets more business. The infamous Jeff Sokol likes to buy pizza and orange juice here and the Google Maps comments are hilarious to read. If you ask the workers for the "Sokol Special," they will likely oblige. Did you know? Chris Hansen revealed that it was the idea of his (Chris's) son Chase to suggest to Sokol that he should bring a pizza from Planet Pizza. Little did he know what would happen in the wake of that suggestion!
For a good place to eat and tastes I'm surprised it is low on stars. The pizza is delicious Waits are reasonable and the delivery guys are nice people. The place has great seatings and comfy to eat in. I recommend when one is craving pizza
I think this is one of the best places in town to just get a slice or two. Good portion and price when buying by the slice. Probably recommend a few other places in the area over Planet Pizza if you're ordering a whole pie, or other menu items. But this is still a solid place.
The people, the food, you can't replace it. Great place for sliced pizza in town. That's coming from a New Havener. Try their penne alla vodka pizza
